The visit will continue with a relaxing walk in Burano, the fishers’ village with its multi coloured house (this little island is also famous for its laces). Last stop Torcello, the “craddle” of Venetian civilisation where guests will visit the Byzantine Cathedral, harbouring the unique mosaic “The Universal Judgement”.

During this period the work of Duccio, the Lorenzetti brothers and Simone Martini was to influence the course of Italian and, more broadly, European art. The whole city of Siena, built around the Piazza del Campo, was devised as a work of art that blends into the surrounding landscape. Departure to Florence, driving trough the old via Cassia (ancient consular road). This road can be traveled quickly but it invites You to drive in with a relaxed frame of mind, fully enjoying the ever changing landscape.

FLORENCE

Florence, is the capital city of the Tuscany region and is one of the most important and historic cities. Full of beautiful Renaissance-style buildings, including wonderful churches and enormous palaces, Florence is steeped in culture and atmosphere and has not changed greatly since the 16th century. Florence, city of art and history, has a great tradition in fashion. Walking through the streets of downtown you will see the beauty of the windows of the most prestigious boutiques, including those of designers who have found their home here in Florence: Gucci, Enrico Coveri, Roberto Cavalli, Salvatore Ferragamo and Emilio Pucci.

ROME

Ancient capital of a great empire, born and expanded along the Tiber river since the ancient times, Rome developed during the centuries, especially in the Renaissance and Baroque period, with a rich heritage that has given the reputation of “the world’s biggest open air museum”.

The Antico Caffè Greco (sometimes simply referred to as Caffè Greco) is an historic landmark café which opened in 1760 on Via dei Condotti in Rome, Italy. It is the oldest bar in Rome and within Italy only café Florian in Venice (established in 1720) is older. Historic figures including Stendhal,Goethe, Bertel Thorvaldsen, Mariano Fortuny, Byron, Franz Liszt, Keats, Henrik Ibsen, Hans Christian Andersen, Felix Mendelssohn, Morrissey, Wagner, Levi, María Zambrano and even Casanova have had coffee there. Featured as a setting in the 2013 novel The Cana Mystery , today Caffe Greco remains a haven for writers, politicians, artists and notable people in Rome.

Via Condotti is the home of Rome’s designer shopping area and where you will find Prada next to Armani with a sprinkling of Gucci. The shops that line Via Condotti entice your credit card out of hiding with their glittering window displays. Take time also for people watching, as this is the haunt of any celebrity in town worth their Hermes bag. And even if this is way out of your budget, remember it costs nothing to go in and unfold things.

Pagliaccio Restaurant – 2 Michelin star restaurant –  located near the Tiber in the heart of the city focuses on modern, stimulating cuisine. Though many dishes are based on Italian classics, you may not recognize them as such. The dishes are arranged with the utmost care; it seems almost a crime to ingest such works of art.
