Your journey begins with a stroll through the vineyard estate of Vistorta, a stunning village dating back to the 13th century, owned by the Brandolini D’Adda family since 1780. Cannot be missed the visit of the cellars with tasting of the pure Merlot, one of the greatest Italian red wines. Next stop is the picturesque medieval town of Sacileknown as the “Garden of the Serenissima” because of its Venice-like atmosphere. You will then spend time around the charming town of Spilimbergo, which was awarded as the “Jewel of Italy”. It is known mainly for being the mosaic art capital of Friuli Venezia Giulia region, with a school that is a unique point of reference throughout the world. Worth noting are the Castle and the Cathedral of Santa Maria Maggiore, one of the most important Gothic buildings in Friuli region with an 16th century organ and important frescoes of the 14th century.


Surrounded by the gentle rolling hills of Friuli, the town of San Daniele del Friuli is known all over the world for the sweet and refined taste of the ham it has been producing for centuries. The tour features the visit of the historical ham factory “La Casa del Prosciutto”, the oldest prosciuttificio of the town with tasting of its typical ham productsThe route leads to the elegant town of Udine, with its squares of Venetian charm, ancient buildings and colorful palaces: discover the Duomo (Cathedral) with its wonderful frescoes, Piazza Libertà, defined as “the most beautiful Venetian square on the mainland”, and enjoy the panorama from the walls of the castle which rises on a hill overlooking the town.


Take a  relaxing drive to the hills around the city of  Nimis, the area of Friuli where the unique tannic sweet wine  Ramandolo is produced. You will have a tour and tasting at the winery Dri Roncat. It makes a good stop on a tour of the area Cividale del Friuli,  a small but picturesque town rich in art and history. Enjoy Your stay in Capriva at the Spessa Castle Resort: the only remains of the ancient fortress, built in the 13th century, are some charming cellars carved in the rock that are worth the visit (with wine tastings).


Discover Gorizia, a town located at the eastern edge of the Veneto-Friuli region, on the border with Slovenia. It is  famous for its charming atmospheres and a castle overlooking magical hill settings. Stop in Ronchi dei Legionari to have lunch in the beautiful Tenuta di Blasig and taste its excellent Malvasia wine.


Conclude Your journey in the magical city of Venice. You can stroll along the narrow streets flanked by canals and colored houses, sail over the Grand Canal to admire the splendor of the palaces or depart on a relaxing excursion by motorboat to discover the three famous islands of the Venetian Lagoon: first stop at a glass-blowing factory on Murano, then continue with a relaxing walk in Burano, where traditional lacemaking workshops are scattered among the island’s brightly colored homes; last stop in Torcello, the “cradle” of Venetian civilization where to visit the Byzantine Cathedral.

The thematic tour related to the flavors of Apulia will give You an introduction to the aromas of a very simple, direct, and deeply seductive cuisine.

Day 1: Venice - Sacile - Fiume Veneto

After arrival at Venice Airport private transfer towards Friuli Venezia Giulia region. You will first visit the vineyard estate of Vistorta, where You will have a tasting of the pure Merlot, one of the greatest Italian red wines. Second stop will be the nearby Sacile for a guided visit of the town. Later transfer to Fiume Veneto, check in and accommodation at the Fossa Mala country house or similar. Dinner including local wines.  It is possible to organize a visit to the Fossa Mala winery (optional).

Day 2: Fiume Veneto - Spilimbergo - San Daniele - Udine

After breakfast head to the beautiful town of Spilimbergo and discover its Gothic buildings.  Second stop will be in San Daniele del Friuli to visit a ham factory and taste the famous San Daniele ham. Later head towards Udine for a guided visit of the city center. Check in and overnight in Your 4* selected hotel centrally located.


Day 3: Udine - Nimis - Cividale - Capriva

After breakfast transfer to Nimis, the area of Friuli where the famous tannic sweet wine Ramandolo is produced. You will have a tour and tasting at the winery Dri Roncat. Then You will visit Cividale del Friuli. In the afternoon transfer and accommodation in the Spessa Castle Resort in Capriva. Visit of its cellars and wine tasting. Dinner and overnight in one of the buildings of the estate.

Day 4: Capriva - Gorizia - Venice

After breakfast head towards Gorizia where You will visit the city center and the medieval castle. Transfer to Ronchi dei Legionari for a typical lunch in the beautiful Tenuta di Blasig where You will taste the excellent Malvasia wine. Later move to Venice. Check in and overnight in Your 4* selecter hotel in Venice-Mestre area.

Day 5: Venice

After breakfast walking guided tour of Venice, one of the most charming cities in the world. Afternoon at disposal for individual visits. Return back to the hotel.

Day 6: Venice

After breakfast enjoy a private excursion by boat to visit the wonderful Murano, Burano and Torcello islands. Afternoon at leisure for shopping or for a Gondola ride (optional). Return back to the hotel.


Day 7: Departure

After breakfast check out and private transfer to Venice Airport.

Tour Location


Vistorta is a small 13th century settlement crossed by the Livenza River and owned by the Brandolini family since 1780. The estate includes a wonderful park with  ancient trees, rare flowers, the orchid greenhouse and small lakes and the 19th century manor house that can’t be visited. Visit of the production areas of the Vistorta wines, such as their pleasant Merlot, one of the great Italian red wines with great reviews of sector experts. Wine tasting of 3 wines including the famous Merlot with appetizers.    


Sacile is a picturesque old town lying on two islands crossed by the Livenza River. Walking through its historical centre You can find traces of the medieval period such as the walls and defensive towers and also of the Renaissance development with several elegant palaces. Sightseeing together with the assistant.    


Spilimbergo is one of the Italian towns awarded as “Jewel of Italy” and is known for its historical buildings, such as  the Castle and the Cathedral of Santa Maria Maggiore, one of the most important Gothic buildings in Friuli region with an 16th century organ and important frescoes of the 14th century. Spilimbergo is “the city of mosaics”: its prestigious Mosaic School is internationally renowned because of its techniques and materials.    


San Daniele del Friuli lies on the top of a hill, from where you can enjoy enchanting views over the surrounding landscape. The town is known all over the world for its San Daniele ham with an  inimitable taste, the result of an ancient tradition and a unique microclimate. Visit of the historical ham factory “La Casa del Prosciutto”, the oldest factory of the town. Tasting of its ham products with drinks included.    


Udine is an elegant and charming town with ancient buildings, colorful and elegant palaces, typical historic  taverns, cafés, craft shops. The castle is on a hill overlooking the town, the mountains and the Adriatic Sea to the south. Private guided tour of the city centre to see its highlights, such as the Duomo and its wonderful frescoes, Piazza della Libertà, known as “the most beautiful Venetian square on the mainland”, and the Castle (outside).    


The Ramandolo is a wine DOCG with a gold color, a sweet taste, an aroma of dried apricots and mountain honey. It’s a rarity: its production is only on the hills between the towns of Nimis and Tarcento, and with a maximum of 150.000 bottles per year. Visit of the winery Dri Roncat built in the early 20th century, with an extension of 22 hectares and with 11 labels from Friuli native grape varieties. Mr Giovanni Dri was the first to exploit fully a sweet wine from grapes Verduzzo Friulano, named Ramandolo. After the visit, tasting of 3 wines of the major labels of the Dri Roncat, such as  Refosco, Picolit, Pignolo, Schioppettino, and above all, Ramandolo.    


Cividale del Friuli is a small but enchanting town, named World Heritage site by UNESCO  in  2011. The town has always been a meeting point of cultures and peoples, from the Celts to the Romans, from the Carolingian to the Patriarchate of Aquileia. Walking through its streets you can appreciate the peaceful of the historic center and see important buildings such as the medieval Lombard Temple, the Altar of Ratchis and the Baptistery of Callisto.     


The origins of the Spessa Castle seem to be dated back to the Roman times when a settlement was built where today the castle lies, in order to protect from the Barbarian raids. The castle was built at the end of the 13th century, owned by several noble families and hosted important guests over the centuries, such as the famous Giacomo Casanova. The hearth of the castle are the wine cellars on two levels: the ancient one  is of the 14th century  and is the oldest of the Friuli Collio area; the other one is set in a bunker built  by the Italians in 1939. It’s at a depth of 18 meters with a constant temperature of 14 ° C and is linked to the park of the castle. Visit of the wine cellars and tasting of 2 local wines and appetizers    


In Gorizia the visitor can feel the characteristic atmosphere of a border town: up to 2004 the Transalpina Square had a wall dividing the town into Italian and Slovenian parts. Gorizia was loved by the Hapsburg bourgeoisie thanks to its mild climate and the beautiful surrounding landscape that you can see from the medieval castle. Private guided visit to admire the beautiful architectural styles, medieval, baroque and 19th century,  the parks such as the Parco Piuma on the Soca River, the several historic buildings such as the Palazzo della Torre and Palazzo Attems Petzenstein. Visit of the medieval castle.    


In Ronchi dei Legionari there’s the Tenuta di Blasig founded by Mr Domenico Balsig in 1788 with the idea of  producing the wine of quality Malvasia and selling it from Venice to Vienna.  Now this winery farms 18 hectares of vineyards and it’s well known also in the USA. Visit of the winery and typical lunch at the Tenuta di Blasig including 3 wines of its label.     


Venice, famous for its casino and its carnival, known as the ‘city on water’, can be appreciated in many ways, strolling along the narrow streets flanked by canals and colored houses, sailing over along the Grand Canal to admire the splendor of the palaces or going to the little islands to be surprised by the local craft productions. The private walking  tour of Venice  is with an English speaking guide and includes the most important sights in the city, starting from St. Mark’s Square and Basilica, Doge’s Palace, Bridge of Sighs, Grand Canal, Rialto Bridge. Private excursion to the 3 islands with private motorboat and English speaking guide. The first stop is in Murano, the island of the glass, here you have the opportunity to see a “Glass Master” in action inside a Glass Factory. The visit continues with a relaxing walk in Burano, the fishers’ village with its multi colored houses (this little island is also famous for its laces). Last stop in Torcello, the “craddle” of Venetian civilization where guests will visit the Byzantine Cathedral.
